Actor Song Jae Rim was found dead in an apartment in Seoul on November 12, 2024. While reports did not specify the cause of death, Song left behind a two-page will, leading many to believe that he had made extreme choices.

Amidst the aftermath, the heat has turned to a sasaeng fan of his from Japan. Sports Kyunghyang reported that the sasaeng had consistently been spreading private information about it, and others noted that Song had been “tormented by this sasaeng with their posts.” The sasaeng had posted not only Song’s photos, but also that of the people around him, mocking them on social media. They had also alleged spread information about his acquaintances and his private life. Other fans of Song have been calling them out for a long time.
